Can Your Baby Fall Asleep Unassisted?

Can your baby fall asleep unassisted? I mean no nursing, rocking, swinging, car rides, baby wearing etc. Can you just put him/her down while awake and they fall asleep? Sunny has never done this. I know it will come with time, but I am curious to know if any of your LO's do this.
