Going insane

For the past week LO has been super clingy and wakes up randomly at night screaming. I called the ped and he prescribed Zantac for AR. The day we started it we had our first good night in like 5 nights, but tonight we are back to him waking every 2 hours or so!

Also, he takes maybe 2 or 3 30 min cat naps during the day and used to take at least one that lasted sometimes 3 hours! I feel like we are back to the newborn nights and then even less sleep during the day. Poor guys exhausted but just won't sleep!!!

I guess this is more of a rant than a question. Well, if your LO is on Zantac, did it take a few days to get results or were they immediate?
