GTKY: Your Neighborhood

I went to the grocery yesterday and ran into my prenatal yoga instructor. She told me a friend of hers is opening a yoga studio in my neighborhood. Turns out the place is a brief walk from my home. Wooooot! Another perk of city living.

So, this got me thinking... what do you all like best about your neighborhoods?

I love not needing a car. [DH and I gave up on a second car years ago, I just don't drive enough.] Pretty much everything I need is in walking distance.

I dislike some of the inconveniences, like not having a garage. Also, I dont really live in a family filled neighborhood. I miss having trick or treaters come to the door and LO probably wont have neighbor kids to play with.
