Scar tissue and painful sex

I had a second degree tear and seemed to take a while to heal. My scar tissue in my vagina wont stretch for intercourse and DH cant even get in half way. Very painful, feels like i am gonna rip open! I am also breastfeeding which is not helping any since i am not self lubricating....I cant find any other advise except to try gentle stretching with a vibrator and olive oil. So i tried today, and i was at least able to insert that all the way (even though it took FOREVER and hurt like a B****) So i am wondering what everyone else is doing to make sex less painful.
