If you used a hospital grade pump

Do you REALLY think its THAT much stronger than a regular electric like PISA? 

I always thought that pumping was going to be more cost effective than formula, but its adding up.  I use the Medela Symphony at home ($90/month) and PISA at work.  The LC I was speaking to from the hospital is strongly encouraging me to keep renting because i am seeing a dip in my supply and she says its stronger.  Is this really true or are they just pushing more rentals?

P.S.  In my opinion, the Symphony is a more comfortable pump.
