I'm glad to hear that the funeral went as well as it could and that you got some closure from going. How have you been feeling since? How is your grandmother coping? And your parent whose dad died [sorry can't remember if it was your dad or mum's dad who died]? Were people pleased to see you make it?

Also I suppose this is common sense, but don't be entirely surprised if the grief hits again in a few weeks or month. DH came to bed one night this week, told me he was sad because he was now completely without grandparents [I had told him he could borrow mine when his last grandmother died 7 or 8 years ago]. The realisation made us both feel a little sad, and I'm a little sad having written out this paragraph too.

One last question how did your LO do without you? Did everything go smoothly back at home?
