August 2012 in 1st Trimester

How long do you plan on taking off from work? I just started my new job Monday, and since I won't be covered (unless they elect to) for paid leave. Is 2 or 3 weeks too short of a leave? With DD I had gotten laid off right before she was born, so I didn't have a set time to come back, and I just stayed home with her for a few months.
