1st Trimester

First prenatal visit worries

August 2012 in 1st Trimester

I just found out that I am about 4 weeks pregnant. I called the doctor and they said they don't normally see pregnant mothers until they are about 10 weeks. It just seems so far away. With the first trimester being so important it just worries me that they wait so long. Is this normal?
