When to make first doctors appointment?

Just wondering when everyone made their first doctors appointment? Initially before we conceived I decided I was going to call when I was 7-8 weeks, but now that I have my BFP I am wondering if I should call earlier?

I know they won't be able to do much other than history and blood work since I am only 4 weeks now, but I have/had stage 3 Endometriosis and had a lap in 2009 and I know the risk of ectopic pregnancy is increased with endo, so now I am a little nervous. I've never had an ectopic pregnancy so I am assuming they won't do an u/s just because of my history?

I am getting married in 2 weeks and we will be leaving for our honeymoon to the Virginia Beach (we are from Canada) and I will be about 7 weeks then. I have travellers insurance, but I know ectopic pregnancies usually start to produce symptoms then.

I am probably over-thinking this.
