First appointment today!!

So I had my first appointment today. Happy to say I haven't gained any weight..yet! My Dr. informed me that my Uterus is pointed back (I guess most women's are pointed forwards) nothing wrong with it though, she said just a "fun fact" haha. I go for my first Ultrasound next Monday!

Question: Did anyone's Dr. try to listen for a heartbeat? I'm around 9 weeks. And when I was telling my mother about the appointment, she asked why she didn't listen to it. I'm assuming it's just to soon to hear it without an Ulstrasound. Something I should be worried about?
