finally told my job! sigh!

I work in youth corrections and there are times when I have to get physical. I began to realize that I was becoming upset much faster and didn?t want to stress the baby. So, yesterday was the day I decided to tell my job. Telling my supervisor was like telling my mom. Her daughter is expecting in Oct. My manager (who is a grouch) was surprising nice. However after congratulating me he asked me to get a note from my doctor explain that I was indeed pregnant. Cool! Then he says ?I will need you to go to the comp clinic to have them confirm the pregnancy? ( comp clinic- doctor?s office for injured employees) I thought that was a little bizarre.

I was given a new job title which requires me to push a few buttons and talk over a walkie-talkie M-F 8am-4pm with weekends and holidays off. I?m so excited I have a regular life again. My old hours were 2pm-10pm rotating days.
