Major Abdominal Pain.....worried

I'm finally pregnant (about 4 weeks) after a m/c last May - but today I had major pain in my lower abdomen that literally brought me to my knees, it felt like what I think labour will be like.  The pain went away after about an hour and there has not been any spotting or bleeding.  Now I just feel exhausted and tender.

I have an appointment next week because of my history but should I bother to see my doctor if the pain has subsided and there's no blood?
