1st Trimester

Would you work out in my situation?

I use to work out before I was pregnant,and at the very begining. Then it got to the point that if I started I would throw up mid work out and be super sick, so I stopped. I have a pregnancy work out DVD, and I planned to start it again when I wasn't so sick. Now I am feeling well and went to start up on the work out. I am pretty out of shape having been so sick, and I am down 5 lbs still. I think all of the laying down from not feeling well didn't help. After I worked out I had really bad cramps. DH think I should just stop again, and walk like I have been doing to work out. I really wanted to work out this entire pregnancy though, so I maybe I will just put it on hold again till I am more in the second tri? What would you do, would cramping up fairly bad stop you from working out?
