tummy tightens up????

I often missed meals pre preggo. No breakfast just lunch and dinner. Now I'm preggo, I have to remind myself to eat and I do? Here lately I may go a few hours without eating and my tummy tightens so bad then I get super nauseous. I eat and I get instant relief. Could this be baby trying to tell me something ?
