Cold sores

Hi ladies,

I have been prone to cold sores since I was a kid. I usually get them now around my period. I was told when I was pregnant with DD that I would get them a lot but I had the opposite reaction. I almost never got them during that pregnancy. So far this pregnancy, I have gotten 2 (one right now and one the day after I found out I was pg). I am wondering if anyone else is prone to these and what do you do for treatment while you are pregnant. What is safe to take or use? I plan on calling the nurse to check but was wondering if anyone else is cursed with these too.
