Early transvaginal ultraound

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to all this, so thanks for the help! I'm pregnant with my 1st and couldn't be more excited 

I am assuming I am only a few weeks along, maybe 4 or 5. I went to the Dr today for blood work and ended  up getting a transvaginal ultrasound. The Dr didn't see anything but a thick uterus wall.

 I am waiting until tomorrow to hear about my hcg levels, then go back on Thursday to test them again. 

Is the ultrasound normal at this point? Should I be concerned that the Dr couldn't see a sack?
