1st U/S at 11wks6days

Hi Ladies,

I've been lurking for a few weeks now and I finally got up the nerve to post...

It seems like many of you have gotten ultrasounds very early on in your pregnancies...I've had one appt. with a nurse practitioner at 8 weeks and all we did was a pap and my pregnancy panel blood and urine test. My First appointment with the ob/gyn is Tuesday, and I will already be almost 12 weeks. It's been driving me crazy that I've had to wait so long to get an u/s. My test results all came back normal and I've been feeling fine (aside from morning sickness, which has subsided this past week and fatigue) but I would really like to hear/see a heartbeat.

 Any advice?
