Advice for First Time Mom

I just received some advice that I think was great. I have not really been around babies or small children and I don't think my husband or I have ever changed a diaper! We are super excited to have our first child together and have agreed to grow our family to a total of 4-6 children!! I am looking for any advice or tips that you might have for us. 

 The tip that I received was to start buying diapers now (I am only about 6 weeks) every time I go to the store. For the first month by size 1 and the next month size 2 and that way when the baby comes you don't have to worry about buying so many diapers at once. So I have been looking at prices for disposable diapers and trying to figure out the best deals!
