Is this cramping normal?

I keep reading that cramping is normal and not to woryy.  I'm 12.5 weeks pregnant , had a perfectly normal US a week ago, but for the past 3 days I have had nonstop cramping. Not terribly painful, just like achy period cramps that radiate down my cervix. I'm debating calling my Doc, but I feel like they're just gpoing to tell me its normal. I'm worried! Has anyone else experienced this?
