Doctor's Pregnancy Test?

I used a home pregnancy test the second day of my missed period and got a positive. Yay! There's not any history of miscarriage or chemical pregnancies from my family as far as I know (with the exception of an aunt with thyroid issues). We'd actually just started talking about and wound up pregnant immediately, a trait that runs in my family. I'm 4 weeks and already experiencing morning sickness, intensified sense of smell, etc., so we're pretty sure. But I wonder if it's still a good idea to get a doctor's test before my first prenatal appointment at 8 weeks. We don't have insurance at the moment (already applying for it) so excessive visits aren't ideal if not necessary. So I wanted to get some more opinions. Thanks
