Charting/Ovulating Newbie...help?

OK ladies, I'm in need of some help.

My LMP was on 4/21. At that time, I had the non-hormonal copper IUD in and my cycles were last 2.5/3 weeks (each month varied). My IUD came out on 5/2 and I started immediately on BCP.

I've never charted so I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to tell if I already have ovulated by charting or if I'm just at a loss until my body is used to BCP. I'm having some weird cramping right now but I don't know if it's PMS-style cramps, my body getting used to BCP or if it might be implantation cramping. I won't be due for my period for another 2-3 weeks, if it comes with the week it should on BCP. If I was still on my pre-BCP cycle, I'd be due for AF any day.
