Flu Shot

I'm debating on getting the flu shot.  I know they say its an old wives tale that you get sick after you get one.... well, I actually do get sick after I get them.  I have a pretty high immunity, and haven't been sick in close to 5 years (and haven't had a flu shot in those 5 years).  I've never been a fan of the flu shot.  Anyone debating on getting one?  Or should I just suck it up buttercup, and just get one.  I do realize my immune system will be lowered, being pregnant and all.... but I still debate getting it.  Thoughts?
