Would you request a second beta when they misplaced the first?

So after being told results would be "3 to 5" days it has been a week now and I called and they still did not have results. They called the lab and lab sent a fax saying "congrats pee stick was positive" uhmm I never did a pee stick at the lab at all. Which means they have wrong info or are mixing it up? I did blood work for 11dpo beta results. This is quite frustrating and now I feel like I can't trust the results since things got mixed up. What would you request? A second beta test done today? Or just drop it. I know Im pregnant and not questioning it but I was really curious about my level and obviously my doctor was too.
