Is it normal for symptoms to fluctuate?

apology... i am on my phone and can not capitalize/use question marks/etc. but i had very tender nipples for a few days, but they are now much less tender than a few days ago. i still notice it a bit, but it is a lot less and the crampingg i had is less frequent too. is it normal for symptoms to come/go, or should i be calling the dr tomorrow/  i dont want to be that annoying patient, but we waited so long for this and i am anxious. thanks
