Baby registry overwhelming!!!!!!!!

Im a FTM due in May and as my mom and I scroll through baby items we can not believe how overwhelming it is!! Our hardest time is picking out car seats that will not only fit a newborn but an infant and then also having to choose a car seat for an older infant.

Anyone have suggestions on what is a MUST NEED for a babys first year????
