NT Scan - Having gender confirmed?

Okay I notice on the NT scan that ppl that have BOYS can tell at the scan around 13 weeks.. not so much with girls.  I am with the mentality that anything before 16 weeks not a good idea to paint the nursery, however, I still notice time after time that ppl say "had NT scan found out gender .. its a boy"

so I wonder if your having a girl - wa sthis ever confirmed? just thought i would ask again, Im not beleeiving you can tell this early
