Getting a hard to for wanting to find out the gender

I'm going tomorrow to find out the sex of my baby. Almost everyone I talk to doesn't understand why I don't want to be surprised. People keep telling me that there are so few surprises in life (I don't agree) so why ruin it. Also, everyone I know isn't finding out the gender. I'm not into surprises, I'm a planner and I like to take advantage of technology. Am I totally unromanitc with this? Do I seem heartless? Am I missing something?
