My dog knows!

This probably sounds crazy, but I swear to god my dog is aware of my pregnancy! I have a 1 year old Miniature American Eskimo.  Normally she is very independent and she favors my DH when it comes to cuddle time at the end of the day.  But lately she has been following me around, even in the bathroom, all morning and from the minute I get home.  When I'm sitting she wants to be in my lap or by my feet and she sleeps on my side of the bed all of a sudden. 

 I feel like she is being protective or something.  Her breed is bred to be a watchdog so that is part of it too, but her behavior recently has led me to believe she knows what's up!

 Anyone else have similar experiences or any information? I know it sounds crazy!
