A/S Scan Question

Hi Everybody!

I am looking forward to my anatomy scan on February 6th (still seems SO far away!!) but I have a question...Where I live, most woman go to a lab for an ultrasound by a tech, not their Dr.'s office.  Reading this board, it seems like lots of people get their scans at their Dr.'s/OB's (my family Dr. is seeing me through my pregnancy).

So my question is: I have a Dr's appointment a week after my A/S...if there are "problems" (i.e, Downs Syndromes markers, heart problems, etc) will the tech let me know or will I have to wait until I see my Dr. the next week?
