PS2 controller p*ssing off my baby ... ?

I have my fair share of games that I play but the other day I bought a ps1 memory card and started playing some of my childhood favorite games. Spyro 3 Year of the Dragon to be specific. Anyway, so my ps2 controller vibrates when Spyro hits something or super charges for anyone actually familiar with the game. I kinda had my arms resting on my stomach and when the controller vibrated, my baby seemed to go crazy with movement. I kinda chuckled and kept playing but every time it vibrated I would get a huge reaction from her. Well my first reaction is, ok so it's kind of annoying her a bit, but then I started thinking... is there a chance it could actually bother her or hurt her? I have the ability to turn the vibration off on the controller if I need to. What do you think, just annoying her or possibly really bothering her?
