I really just love it when people with next to no real medical knowledge insist they know what I'm having based on some fart in the wind wive's tale.  And then when I have the nerve to say, "Well, maaaybee..." they get all indignant and insist once again that yes, the direction a piece of string swings as I simultaneously feel a draft come through the window next to me, or the heart rate that fluctuates 20 BPMs in either direction from one week to the next, is as good an indicator of my baby's gender as having seen the fetus themselves.

Makes me madder than a wet hen.
