correlation between hiccups and yaking?

I'm starting to think that these two are related.  Not like a cause and effect relationship or anything but on the days where I'm throwing up a LOT more than normal I notice I get the hiccups a lot, too.

I mean it would make sense to me, since they're kinda dealing with the same area of the body.... but I've thrown up 16 times since yesterday afternoon (actually stopped counting at 10 so i'm guessing its 16+ by now) and had the hiccups 5 or 6 times since then!  And this is't the first time I've noticed the relation either. Has anyone else noticed this?  (sorry, I know most of you are past the puking stage so this is probably a moot topic!)
