Flu shots?

I work at a hospital and this year they are stating that it is MANDATORY for everyone to get a flu shot. Is thy legal? Can they make putting anything into your body mandatory?! I was planning on getting one anyway, but I wanted to talk to my OB first and clear everything with him.

I guess them telling me that I HAVE to do something with my body gets under my skin a little. I am really unsure about it. I hadn't really though too much into the shot, but I'll be calling my OB now.
