anyone used or using a crib needing an immbolizer kit?

Is anyone else using a crib that requires an immobilizer kit? We were given a beautiful crib from my in laws, but it requires an immobilizer kit due drop down sides. Has any used a crib requiring the kit or going to be using a crib  with this need? I just want to know how they work out. I placed my order for one yesterday.
