Stuffed animal storage?

My MIL has gone crazy with the stuffed animals. I'm not talking about little bears, but big stuffed dogs and such that are about the size of a two year old. I really don't want to use one of those nets. I feel like the toys in the bottom/back never get played with, so I was wondering where you ladies will be storing them?
