Bedrest

So ever since my A/S I've been concerned that one of these weeks my doctor is going to put me on some sort of bedrest.  I thought that was the worst thing that could possibly happen.  I may have been wrong.  My husband severely injured himself last weekend and after it stopped improving and started hurting and swelling up again his doctor ordered him to elevate his leg at all times.  He can go to work as long as he finds a way to keep his leg up and when he gets home he is to lay down.  No dog walking, no dishes, no vacuuming, no exercise of any sort.  He ruptured at least one of the main veins in his leg and is at risk of developing an infection.  He goes in again at the end of the week to see if there is improvement, but the doctor said this is going to be his new normal for the next several weeks.  Great...I think I am going to start looking for a house cleaner and possibly a dog walker.
