20 week u/s...boooooo

So I had the u/s and the tech told me nothing, except confirmed what we already knew, that it's a boy.  Didn't comment on anything she saw, and when asked to elaborate she said she couldn't because that is what the radiologist does and then those results will be shared at my next appointment next month.  I'm so disappointed, it was really anticlimactic.  Is this typical???
