Thanks but no thanks

My boyfriend's grandmother is by far the sweetest lady I know and she means well but I just don't know what to do. She LOVES yard sales and she keeps buying all this stuff for us from them. So far she has picked up a high chair, stroller, pack and play and a few other things. I know she means well but this is my first baby and i really want new stuff thats special for us, not just someones old stuff that who knows where it has been. Also so many safety regulations have changed that I just don't feel comfortable with it especially not know where its been or what its been through. How do I say thanks but no thanks? Also these are all items that I have registered for and some I know have already been purchased off the registry...
