Crib Bedding Suggestion

I just want to throw this out there for the first time moms.  I returned my crib bedding set before Jackson was born and just got a breathable bumper and cute crib sheets.  I bought accessories that I liked that went with our fishing theme.  I'm so glad that I did.  He still doesn't use a top sheet.  We have our diapers stored in baskets on the changing table and I got a mobile that I love.  I made curtain tie backs that matched the room and used khaki curtains that I'll be able to use with this next one.  

Overall we saved over $100 and looking back I have never missed any of the extras that come in the sets.  Just food for thought as you all are shopping!
