20 week ultrasound question

is everyone having their spouse attend these?

we are thinking of seeing the ultrasound and if we don't see the gender one way or the other on our own then doing a gender reveal party with our families and close friends, so we would be surprised with them!

DH thinks it is kinda a waste of money when we can just call everyone...so not fun! I really want to share this moment with all those who are close to us!
