Decorating help

Since this is #3, I have a lot of stuff that I need to reuse.

I have white furniture

blue bedding(bumper and skirt) which I plan to use with either sex and can just add some pink sheets or something to add more girl touches.

I also have a beige glider

 

At first I was thinking of painting the room a pale gray. Then I could have pale pinks/blue and grays for the room. Then I remembered the chair.

Would it look stupid? I just painted the older kid's room blue so I wanted to do something different and I have used sage before so I wanted to stay away from that as well. I am more of a pastel fan over loud and bright colors.

 

Any thoughts?
