Rant: Pushing instruction during labor

LOL. A Baby Story on TLC is on and the nurse is yelling at the woman, who just began pushing, to "push, push, push, harder, harder, harder". And it's sooo annoying to watch. I think I'd seriously tell the nurse to tone it down. 

Actually, on our birth plan for DS, we had "use my own natural pushing cues" so that I wouldn't have anyone screaming at me to "push" and/or counting to 10. It worked well. They told me to just wait until I had a contraction and hold my breath. I didn't have an epi, so I felt everything and had the urge to push. I tried a few positions before I felt comfortable and felt like the baby was moving down and out. 25 mins later and DS was out.  

Ugh..and the OB is now telling the mom that "she won't be able to push the baby out" and that they should stop and do a c-section.
