Confused baby?

OK maybe I'm just beigng weird but I find this very odd and disturbing almost.

My sweet nephew calls his mom Mommy and his grandma (MIL) Mama! He can say grandma and calls his other grandma that but MIL watches him more than my SIL almost and it just seems like he's confused. He looks for MIL all the time, wether SIL is there or not. And MIL even "slipped" a few times and called her self Mama instead of Grandma - before the boy could speak!

So is it just me or is this really awkward :/
