Elevated Maternal Serum Levels

Has anyone ever had this? I just got a call from the dr and they said my levels were elevated. Normal is 2.0 and mine is 2.7. It could cause a lot of things....it basically means my placenta isn't doing EXACTLY what it's supposed to. It can cause preterm labor, pre eclampsia, low birth weight etc. She dr wasn't too concerned but it freaked me out. She said we would be doing u/s every 4 weeks to keep an eye on it. I already have a low lying placenta and a SCH. What else can go wrong???

I am hoping maybe someone out there has gone through this and has some encouraging words!!!!
