Refusing solid food since 6 months...help?

My DD is almost 9 months old (a little early to write on here) and has been refusing solid food since 6 months.  I'm writing on this board in hopes that some moms with older babies have or are going thru this.

Since 6 months old she just closes her mouth and turns her head away...she rejects the utensils more than the food I think.  I have given purees, solid finger food, and those happymelt yogurt things.  I have put foods in the mesh bag feeder and she took avocado from it a few times.... She will gnaw on a barley teething biscuit and take a sippy cup but thats it.  Should I be worried?  She has three teeth and puts everything in her mouth but food! I'm exhausted from breastfeeding as well...lately it has been every two hours but then from about 3 to 6 its every hour!  I would like the nursing to slow down a bit.

Tips/advice? Similar experiences?
