DD 9 months and having a hard time going to sleep

Hi girls,

DD never had trouble going to sleep used to sleep from 6:30/7 til 6am.  But the past few weeks she is crying when I put her down and then waking up a few hrs after she is sleeping kicking and crying.. She doesn't have any teeth yet.. poor thing so my friends think she is teething but I let her cry for 25 min last night and she fell asleep but tonight she cried for awhile so I went in and rocked her and now she is asleep.  Just curious if this happened to any of you and is it just a phase?? LOL I hope so.. Thanks so much
