Let's talk SHOES

Okily, I'm looking for shoes for DS and having such a tough time finding something cool. I want some pre-walkers. So they're  usually a leather upper, a softish sole with grips. This is so they can still easily flex their feet but there's grip and waterproofness.

I don't want walking shoes with a stiff sole and I don't want those baby leather shoes with the nubuck sole and elastic back round their heel. Hopefully I'm making sense!!!

It's winter here so I need shoes or boots, not sandals. The best shoes I can find are the i-walk Junior by Bobux however I don't like any of the available styles. Sad

And last stipulation. I live in New Zealand so I either need to be able to buy them here or get them shipped here. Thanks in advance for any help/advice/links.
