really child support?! vent

9 years ago I had a baby with an idiot after i graduated from college.  he has been MIA for 8 years and until recently did not pay child support to the tune of being $17006 in arrears.  Well, he made a few payments from feb-may and I decided that I would call child support to see what happens now that he is not paying...again.  If no payment is made in the next week they will suspend his license.  The kicker is they wont file contempt charges (even though he is 17006 behind) because he has made payments in the past 12 months and they will not file until he has not paid a certain percentage of payments in 12 months.

Way to keep it classy child support...
