s/o Bachelorette Party - 6 week old baby?

Would you leave (probably for the first time) your 5-6 week old at home with your husband so that you could attend a bachelorette party?

The bride to be is a dear friend from WAY back.  I know a few of the girls that will be attending but, truth be told, I don't like them very much.  I feel like I have to go because we've been friends for years but I'm worried about leaving LO.   

FWIW - I am not able to attend her wedding shower because I have a baby shower for a relative on the same day.  So I'm feeling guilty about that and feel like I have to go to the b-party. 

Would you go?
