XP: 1 hour glucose today

Hi everyone, happy Friday! this is an XP from my BMB but I think that more of PAIF ladies will have gone through the GD testing...

so i have my monthly today and and because of my history with PCOS I am doing my 1 hour glucose test for GD.

I feel like the way my OB does it is different that what I have read elsewhere. I am not doing a baseline test but instead they sent the drink home with me. I will drink it at home and then go into the office and have my blood drawn 1 hour later. I didn't have to fast at all but once i drink the orange drink i can't have anything, not even water.

i just am worried that i will fail miserably and don't know what to expect after that. things have not gone perfectly smoothly at most of my appointments so i am worried that this will go badly as well!

Thanks for any insight on the process and what happens if i fail!
